Flood forecast in Ravi during next 24-hour

Lahore: Flood Forecasting has been issued for low-lying areas of Ravi and its adjacent streams and Nullahs within next 24 hours.

According to details floods in River Ravi and its adjacent streams and nullahs has been forecasted for next 24 hours and low-lying areas of Narowal and Sialkot adjacent to the River could be inundated.

It is also worth mentioning that India has not yet issued any flood forecast in eastern river of Pakistan including Satluj and Ravi as their heads were located in India, however a flood situation could be created in these eastern rivers after filling of reservoirs and dams on these rivers in India as India could divert additional floodwater of these rives towards Pakistan.
