105 Pakistanis denied entry to Malaysia
ISLAMABAD: Malaysian Immigration Authorities have deported 105 Pakistanis after denying them entry to Malaysia for carrying tourist visas instead of the required work visas, Pakistan’s High Commission in Kuala Lumpur said on Thursday. Shahid Hussain Jatoi, the community welfare counsellor for the commission, said in a statement the Pakistanis were denied entry to Malaysia on the suspicion that they might try to stay in Malaysia and work illegally. Jatoi, who interviewed eight such detainees at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, said it appeared the detained Pakistanis travelled to Malaysia through an agent mafia, and on a visit visa under the garb of a tourist visa. “These young Pakistanis are sent by the recruiting agents for immediate personal gains to seek employment in Malaysia, which is in violation of the Malaysian law,” he said. app http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp...008_pg7_28 |
