Gas suspension for CNG stations from 8am-8pm

LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) has decided to suspend the gas supply to CNG stations between 8 am to 8 pm on daily basis, while Monday and Tuesday gas stations would remain shut down according to schedule due to gas loadshedding.

According to sources the company has decided to suspend the gas due to low pressure. On the other side All Pakistan CNG Association has protested over the SNGPL decision.

Senior vice chairman APCNG Capt (retd) Shuja Anwar said SNGPL has took decision to suspend the gas supply for CNG stations only in Lahore region.

He said CNG owners have rejected this unjustified decision and they would observe protest on Tuesday (today).

He said if there was gas shortage in SNGPL system why they did not divide the gas loadshedding in across the country.
