ISLAMABAD: Yousaf Ahmed, a salesman at a bookstore at Super Market, said the new taxes would further impact the prices of educational material. He said soaring prices of paper also played a role in the high prices of textbooks and stationery items. He said the increase in prices of books and stationery was proportional to the prices of petrol and electricity. “Increase in prices elsewhere means manufacturers and bookstore owners must have to increase their profit margins,” Ahmed said
