Sector I-8 joins the “Clean and Green” bandwagon

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Sunday announced the launch of the phase-wise “Clean and Green Islamabad” campaign in Sector I-8 of the federal capital.

After a successful launching in sectors I-10, G-10, G-11, G-9, I-9, G-7 and G-8, the project has been initiated in sector I-8, and is slated to continue for three days.

CDA Chairman Syed Tahir Shahbaz along with school children, traders, NGOs, I-8 residents and CDA officials inaugurated the campaign in front of Darbaar Market, Sector I-8/1 at 11:00 am.

The chairman directed all Environment Wing, Sanitation Directorate, City Sewerage Division, Enforcement Directorate, Municipal Administration, Water Supply and Engineering Wing officers to attend and participate in the I-8 Camp Office to address the public’s complaints.
