Government Seeks Records To Take Action Against Illegal Housing Societies

Lahore – In order to take action against illegal housing societies, related records have been sought from LDA, WASA and Board of Revenue.

Government is keen to take action against the illegal housing societies on the Government’s land and also the housing societies developed without seeking permission from the Government.

Data is being gathered to take action against land mafia and a decision to submit the case of land mafia to NAB is also under discussion. A decision has also been taken to take action against the patwaris and the employees of LDA (Lahore Development Authority) who are involved in buying and selling of illegal properties.
