Pakistan receives US$2 billion in financial support from Saudi Arabia

Islamabad: Saudi Arabia has agreed to help Pakistan by providing US$2 billion, according to news released on April 5.

The news source reports that after Finance Minister Ishak Dar approached the leadership of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to secure funds, he visited the United States (US) to deal with the IMF and the World Bank Group (WBG). He announced that he would attend the annual Spring Meeting.
