Editor of Indian daily sees Pak role as ‘positive’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s cooperation in the investigation into the Mumbai terror attacks was positive, Editor of the Indian Express Shakher Gupta said on Tuesday. In a telephonic conversation with a private television channel from New Delhi, the editor of Indian daily said trust between the two countries was damaged at the initial stage, but some encouraging signs could be seen now. He expressed hope that India would take Pakistan’s cooperation positively adding that would be in India’s own interest. The investigation into the Mumbai attacks could be successful only if the two countries trusted each other, he said. app
