Rawalpindi: Number of boys’ colleges to be increased
Director Colleges Rawalpindi Division Dr Muhammad Ashraf has said that the Education Department is working hard to improve the education standard in the division on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif. In a statement, he said that new blocks are being constructed while evening classes have started in three colleges of Rawalpindi to ensure the admission of students, saying that after the revival of the Directorate of Colleges, all educational problems of the division would be solved. Commenting on the number of boys’ colleges in Rawalpindi Division, he said there are total 28 boys’ colleges and 37 girls’ colleges in the division, adding that boys’ colleges are less as compared to girls’ colleges and steps are being taken to increase their number.
