Incentives offered to Japanese investors: Qamar
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will ensure Special Economic Zone, equipped with the basic infrastructure for Japanese investors on priority basis, said Syed Naveed Qamar, Federal Minister for Finance, Privatization and Investment here on Wednesday. Talking to 15-member delegation of Japanese investors on Pakistan-Japan Business Forum led by Makoto Kakebayashi, he said the pressure on current account was due to oil and food imports, which was being curtailed through effective measures. He directed the officials of Board of Investment (BOI), who were also present to work together with the Pakistan Japan Business Forum in conducting an in-depth study to find out the impediments being faced by the investors in general and the Japanese investors, in particular.
