Karachi: DHA, Clifton to have one-window facilitation & complaint centre

The foundation stone for a facilitation and complaint centre of the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) was laid on Wednesday by Commander Corps-V Lt-Gen Shahid Iqbal. The complaint centre, which will be constructed near Nisar Shaheed Park in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase-IV, will provide one-window operations for all major civic, utility, billing, and taxation affairs of the residents of the CBC and the DHA.

The complaint centre will be constructed at a cost of Rs12.5 million on a 400-square-yard plot provided by the DHA. Residents of DHA and Clifton will be able to register their complaints online, by telephone, or by personally visiting the complaint centre.

Issues pertaining to taxation, building control, utility bills, issuance of birth and death certificates and other DHA services will be dealt with at the centre.
