Islamabad: CDA warns public against investment in 4 sectors, H-13, H-14, H-15 & H-17
ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has warned the public to refrain from sale and purchase of any plot for any purpose in sectors H-13, H-14, H-15 and H-17. A senior CDA official warned the people not to invest in these four non-residential sectors as being advertised by some housing scheme operators of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Talking to this agency on Sunday, he said some real estate agents were using different prominent buildings situated in these four non-residential sectors including H-13, H-14, H-15 and H-17 in their advertisements to attract the customers. “All these four sectors fall within Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) limits and are allocated for institutions. Planning of residential scheme is neither permissible in these sectors as per provision of ICT Zoning Regulations 1992 nor any scheme has been approved by the authority,” the official said. He said in its advertisement, the under-construction University Town is using name of Beacon House School System and Kalsoom International Institute of Medical Sciences situated in sector H-17, while the fact is that the Town is situated in sector H-18 outside the premises of Islamabad Capital Territory. “The University Town is located in H-18 and registered under Rawalpindi Development Authority and linking it with these sectors can mislead the people,” said the official. He said none of the said four sectors had yet been acquired and were not for residential purposes, so any investment in these sectors may cause huge financial loss to the investors. “Public is warned to refrain from sale and purchase of plots in any housing scheme in sectors H-13, H-14, H-15 and H-17 i.e. from Coca Cola factory to Motorway Interchange,” the official added.
