LAHORE: There should be a balance of powers between the president and the prime minister, a private TV channel cited Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab as saying on Thursday. Talking to the media in Islamabad, she said the country did not need an over-powerful premier. “Could an all-powerful PM prevent a dictator from taking over in the past?” she asked. daily times monitor
