RCB to get new chief on 15th

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Contentment Board (RCB) Station Commander Brigadier Sajjad Azam Khan will retire on July 14 (Tuesday) on the completion of his tenure.

Brigadier Nasarullah Khan Niazi has been appointed as new station commander of the RCB and he will assume charge of his office on July 15. The RCB employees have also organised a farewell party in the honor of outgoing Brigadier Sajjad Azam and incoming Brigadier Nasarullah Khan.

Meanwhile, on the directive of RCB Executive Officer Adil Rafi, the cleanliness of nullahs has been completed in the RCB limits ahead of monsoon rains, said Chief Sanitation Superintendent Ghulam Rasool Satti in a statement

He said rainwater would not accumulate in low-lying areas during monsoon, as all the nullahs had been dredged successfully by July 10. He said action would be taken against sanitation inspectors and supervisors if found showing dereliction of duty. online
