Pak, India vow to continue composite dialogue

NEW YORK (updated on: September 27, 2009, 23:23 PST): A crucial meeting between foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi with his Indian counterpart S M Krishna ended here with a pledge to continue composite dialogue between the two neighbour nuclear powers, Aaj News reported on Sunday.

Addressing a press after the meeting, Indian foreign minister said that both the countries have vowed to continue composite dialogue, adding militants in Pakistan are major threat to India.

He further said that his Pakistani counterpart has extended assurance for action against Mumbai attack perpetrators. India will monitor Pakistan’s action against Mumbai attack accused, he added.

Krishna further said that India is working for the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
