CDA to introduce computerised traffic system
ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will introduce computerised traffic system in the federal capital to modernise the existing system.
According to an official of the CDA, an expert of Australia firm briefed high officials of the CDA in a meeting here and highlighted the importance of the computerised system. The Expert informed that under computerised system sensor would be installed on the traffic signals. Overall traffic of the city would be controlled from one control room and on every signals the traffic can be measured easily. In case of requirement automatically adjust the traffic. He said that the system would help decrease the growing traffic problems in the city, adding that CDA was committed to facilitate residents at their doorstep. He said that several other projects were in progress for the welfare of the citizens in the federal capital.
