Petrol price down, diesel up

ISLAMABAD: The government on Tuesday announced Rs 0.48/litre reduction in the price of petrol and raised the price of high speed diesel (HSD), kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO). Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) notified the new prices on Tuesday. Price of petrol and HOBC has been decreased by Rs 0.48 per litre and Rs 0.49 per litre, respectively, while prices of Kerosene oil, LDO, HSD and JP-1 (local) have been increased by Rs 0.72, Rs 1.32, Rs 1.57 and Rs 1.34 per litre, respectively. The new prices are: petrol Rs 67.26, HOBC Rs 79.85, kerosene oil Rs.65.57, LDO Rs 62.67, HSD Rs 74.60, JP-1 (local) Rs 55.45 per litre. The new prices are effective from today (Wednesday).
