Remodelling of 20 roads approved

COMMISSIONER Jawad Rafique Malik approved a plan for remodelling 20 major roads of the City here on Friday. He took this decision during a meeting at his office in which DCO Lahore Ahad Cheema, CTO Mobeen Ahmed, PHA, LDA, TEPA and other officials of the district government participated.

The roads remodelling work has already been started and the work would be completed by February 10. Around 330 million rupees would be spent on the roads under the city district government while 450 million rupees would be spent on the roads under the Traffic and Engineer Planning Agency (TEPA). During the meeting, the commissioner was informed that all the necessary arrangements have been finalized to tackle the smooth flow of traffic on these roads.
