Bridge over Indus in Rojhan tehsil




Lahore : SENIOR Adviser to Chief Minister Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that a bridge will be constructed over Indus River at Acha Bangla, tehsil Rojhan, at a cost of Rs.4.17 billion for including the most backward area of district Rajanpur in the mainstream of development.



He stated this while presiding over a high level meeting at 90 Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam, on Wednesday. Member National Assembly Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari, Sardar Atif Hussain Mazari MPA, Chairman Planning and Development Board, Secretary Communication &Works, Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan, DCOs Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur were also present. The meeting was informed that with the construction of Acha Bangla Bridge, 87 kilometre distance would be reduced from Rajanpur to Rahim Yar Khan. The meeting was informed that along with the construction of Acha Bangla Bridge, 32 feet wide approach road would also be constructed.
