Repair of Lalrukh road demanded

RAWALPINDI – The recently repaired road in Gulistan Colony, Lalarukh and surrounding areas have broken again because of the recent rains that speaks volumes of the substandard material used by the contractor and the concerned administration officials’ inspection.

Residents, talking to INP said that the road in Gulistan Colony in Cantonment area was in dilapidated condition and was recently repaired but it has broken again. They said that the contractor used very substandard material.

Similarly, a road in Lalarukh was repaired recently but it has damaged again only after a few rains. The residents demanded of the concerned authorities of the Cantt administration to visit the area and arrange renovation of the road, besides taking strict action against the contractor for using substandard material.
