Jumeirah Group to set up 12 restaurants in Pakistan

DUBAI: Jumeirah Group has signed an agreement with Pakistan’s Zahdan Retail Private Ltd that will see the expansion of Dubai hotel operator’s restaurant business in Pakistan.

Jumeirah’s branded restaurant division, The Taste Department, plans to set up 12 noodle house outlets in Pakistan over the next five years.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zahdan Group, said the company would roll out restaurants in major Pakistani cities.

The general manager said that the agreement is another significant step forward in the division’s plan to license 100 noodle house restaurants worldwide by 2012. ppi
