Karachi: Hotels’ guest records to be sent to police stations

KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies have directed all local hotel managements to maintain daily records of guests and to send a report to the police station concerned on a daily basis, Daily Times learnt on Monday. Source privy to the matter told Daily Times that the National Crisis Management Cell (NCMC) sent a communiqué to the Sindh Home Department and Sindh IGP telling them to arrange for adequate security measure on Rabi-ul-Awal 12. Sources further said that NCMC has also directed that all foreign nationals present in Pakistan should not be allowed to move without proper security and asserted that foreigners should inform the authorities concerned before moving about. It has been learnt that the police have started rounding up susupects in this regard. faraz khan
