Lahore: Registration of 33,000 vehicles cancelled

LAHORE: The Motor Registration Branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has cancelled the registration of about 33,000 vehicles due to non-payment of token taxes, a private TV channel reported on Friday.

The channel reported said the decision would mainly affect the vehicles of banks. Motor Registration Director Rizwan Sherwani said the vehicles could be transferred after the payment of the fine.
