Lahore: Report says SHOs patronise prostitutes, drug dealers

PROSTITUTION is at its peak in the hotels, falling in the jurisdiction of Qila Gujjar Singh, Gawalmandi, Naulakha and Gulberg police stations.

This was disclosed in a secret report prepared on the directions of Capital City Police Officer Muhammad Pervez Rathore. The report reveals that the SHOs of the said police stations receive bribe on a monthly basis from the hotel managements to let them run the illegal business. Raids are carried out on the hotels if the SHOs are not obliged, thus deals are struck between the two parties.

The report identifies the people allegedly involved in drug business, gambling, land grabbing and prostitution in the City Police Division.

According to the report, Mahmood alias Bhaiya and his brother Iqbal alias Babar deal in drugs on the Shesh Mahal Road in the Lower Mall area. Billi Gujar is supplying drugs in the Islampura area and DSP Imtiaz Sarwar allegedly receives his share in this regard. Similarly, Qazi Inam, who runs a gambling den, also frequently visits the office of the said DSP. DSP Imtiaz Sarwar receives bribe from hotels for allowing the illegal activities.

Imran alias Cheena and Anwar Bibi, wife of Muhammad Afzal, residents of Shahdara Town, supply drugs in the Shahdara area. Both have left their homes to escape their arrest. Zeeshan alias Shani is involved is involved in drug pushing in Gawalmandi area. Guddi Saien supplies drugs and sedatives in the Bhaati Gate area. Amir Javed supplies drugs in the Gawalmandi area. Muhammad Younas alias Juna supplies drugs in Badami Bagh area. Khalid alias Khalidi runs the business of illegal drugs in Farid Colony, Shahdara Town. Raheel Khan Pathan deals in charas and opium and illicit arms while Rana Qurban supplies drugs in the same area. Anno Bibi and her son Humayun of Sung Tarashan deal in charas, Puppo Gogi and his sister supplies liquor while Puppa Masih supplies liquor and runs a gambling den in the Shahdara Town area. Malik Siddique runs a gambling den near the Government Girls College, Shahdara Town, and the area nazim allegedly patronises him. Rana Mahboob and his brothers, residents of Lakhowali Masjid, Wand Ram Road, supply drugs in Shahdara. Police avoid arresting them. Rana Shan, Rana Qurban and Rana Shahbaz are notorious drug pushers of Shahdara. Amir Khan and Qurban Ali of Masjid Khajoor Wali, Shahdara, are drug dealers. They are symbol of terror in the area.

Mumtaz supplies sedatives in Lower Mall area. Rani alias Mithi supplies drugs and runs a brothel in Kutchi Abadi, Lorry Adda.

Shurli Bibi of Habib Gunj and Faisal supplies charas in Misri Shah. Humayun supplies liquor and runs a gambling den in New Anarkali area. Gogi Pakoria and Bali Butt deal in drugs and Iqbal alias Billa Esae and Ashraf Buggiyari supply liquor in Shafiqabad while Aslam Pehlwan Foji supplies prostitutes in Chowk Yadgar. Javed alias Shankar is a drug dealer in the Mochi Gate, Sajjad Butt and Shahzad Butt in Bhatti Gate, Billo Perchi and Naveed Butt in Lohari Gate and Naveed Butt, son of Shaya Pahalwan, in Tibbi City. Younas Masih supplies drugs and runs a gambling den in Badami Bagh. Lateef Tunda, Ramzan and Bhalli Bibi supply drugs in Gawalmandi.

Younas alias Yuhunna supplies drugs in Babadmi Bagh. Billo supplies charas in Yakki Gate.

Muhammad Nawaz alias Lala supplies liquor in New Anarkali. Abid Butt, vice-president Bird Market Bhatti Gate, deals in charas and opium in Bhatti Gate area. Ghulam Nabi supplies charas in Badami Bagh area. Muhammad Younas supplies charas in Badami Bagh, Kala Gujjar of Gunda in Naulakha, Amir Saen in Gawalmandi, Bhola in Shafiqabad and Iqbal alias Billa Esae supplies liquor in the same area. Gonga and Sher is a drug dealer in Tibbi City.

As per the said report, Muhammad Siddique runs a gambling den in Naeem Park near Shahdara Town, Ashraf alias Achha and Muhammad Younas alias Pona Mushtaq in Badami Bagh and Billi Gujjar in Islampura, Razaq alias Jaka in Misri Shah, Kali Balooch in Shadbagh area, Shahid alias Sheedi in New Anarkali, Hamayun in the Aibak Road area, New Anarkali, Muhammad Saeed of Dholanwal, Shaukat and Haseeb in New Anarkali, Bhola Jutt in Javed Park, Shahdara Town, Sheeda Choriwala, Rozi Khan and Baid Esae deal in Shafiqabad, Shera Choriwala in Karim Park, Shafiqabad, Jan Gull in Khokhar Town, Shafiqabad, Haji Khan Pathan in Shafiqabad, Sheikh Nadeem in Jia Musa, Shahdara, Ishaq alias Saki in Yakki Gate, Lakha Pahalwan, Nadeem Kasae alias Deema and Nadeem Pia in Lohari Gate, Arif Butt and Amjad in Misri Shah, Sohni Khan and Ghulam Nabbi Pathan in Badami Bagh, Mian Tari, Papo Huddi, Mian Habeeb Vicky, Mian Amir and Mian Guddo in Lohari Gate, Humayun Khan of Pan Mandi and Muhammad Shahid alias Shado in New Anarkali, Pervez Hafeez alias Pia in Bhatti Gate, Achha Gujjar and his nephew Imran Gujjar in Shafiqabad, Munsan Jan and Shadi Khan in Shafiqabad, Kala Butt of Choona Mandi in Akbari Gate, Saghir alias Taya in Lohari Gate and Muhammad Ashraf in Iqbal Town, Khuram Shah in Shahdara.

Chaudhry Shahid runs a gambling den in Shamnagar, Chauburji. Lytton Road SHO Rizwan Lateef allegedly patronises him.

Report disclosed that Asiya, Aqeeqa, Moeenuddin and Parveen run a brothel in Tibbi City while Nadeem alias Deema supplies prostitutes in Shahdara area.

Land grabbers operating in the City Police Division are as follows: Akram Butt alias Acca Butt patronises the criminals and is notorious as a land grabber in Shahdara Town. Akram Jutt runs a land grabbers group in Shahdara, Waseem alias Tipna in Laulakha, Moma Kasae in Yakki Gate area, Mian Saqib Kamran and Haji Yousaf in Musti Gate, Kala Daewala in Islampura and Shah Jahan in Shahdara Town.

The report disclosed that DSP Khawaja Zahid Mahmood is allegedly protecting the criminals and is minting money from them. Muhammad Imran alias Mani of Bhagatpura is a notorious in Shadbagh. Naeemur Rehman, Deputy Director Anti-Corruption, allegedly patronises him. Muhammad Nadeem of Jinnah Street, Shahdara, has relations with criminals. He is also a member of Mobeen Butt gang. Mobeen Butt is presently in jail in heinous cases including murder, dacoity and kidnapping.

Muhammad Akram of Iqbal Colony, Wandala Road, Shahdara, leads a gang of criminals. Fiaz Ahmad Thatha, Umar Gonga and Taya Kungla of Karim Park, Wapda Grid Station, Block 3, is a gangster in Karim Park. Islam Jan and Muslim Jan of Pir Makki Data Darbar are hardened criminals committing crimes in Lower Mall, Islampura and Shafiqabad.
