CM refuses right to import duty-free car

LAHORE: Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday refused his discretionary right to import a duty-free luxury car. According to City 42, the CM made this move according to his new austerity campaign. It reported Shabaz as saying that the purpose of a leader was not to attain benefits but to facilitate the public. According to the channel, the CM also announced the privatisation of the minister’s enclosure, which had cost the government Rs 2.5 billion.
