Suicide attacks against Islamic injunctions, supporters not Muslims: Mutfi

MANSEHRA: JUI-F leader MPA Mufti Kifayatullah has termed suicide attacks against the injunctions of Islam and said those involved in such attacks were non-Muslims

“A Muslim can’t kill innocent people and Islam abhors terrorism,” he told a gathering in Khanate area on Saturday. He said he did not consider those as Muslims who considered suicide attacks as an Islamic act.

He said that Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik had destroyed NWFP, particularly Peshawar through his unrealistic statements and threats to Taliban. Criticising the policies of the provincial government, he said that postings and transfers of female staff without rules and regulations would not be tolerated. He said that heads of government departments should stop discrimination.
