LDA ‘achieves’ 100pc target
LAHORE, Dec 31: The Lahore Development Authority has claimed achieving almost 100 per cent target in disposing of thousands of applications relating to public works through its one-window operation during the year 2011. In a press release issued here on Saturday, the LDA administration claimed disposing of 63,975 of the total 64,564 applications, achieving 99.18 per cent disposal target. It said the LDA had estimated an income of Rs12.602 billion for the on-going fiscal year 2011-12 against the expected expenditures of Rs11.633 billion. Development expenditures of Rs9.38 billion were also included in the amount, it said. The release said Wasa expected Rs4.21 billion income in the financial year 2011-12 while it would spend Rs7.52 billion. — Staff Reporter |
