Nestle Pakistan declares 250% cash dividend

KARACHI: Nestle Pakistan has announced a final cash dividend for the year ended December 31, 2008 at Rs 25 per share, 250 percent. According to a pres release Tuesday, this is in addition to interim dividends already paid at Rs 16.50 per share, 165 percent. The cash dividends were announced in the annual meeting of the Board of Directors. The year 2008 witnessed a 17 percent increase in Nestlé’s net sales figures. Gross Profit swelled by 11.2 percent and stood at Rs 8.9 million while profit after taxation stood at Rs 1.5 million for the year ended December 31, 2008. staff report
