Plot allotment on retirement: Federal govt officials’ registration begins

ISLAMABAD: Housing and Works Minister Rehmatullah Kakar on Friday opened the federal government employees’ registration for allotment of houses on retirement.

The minister told reporters on the occasion here that Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) had acquired 3,000 kanals of land in Bhara Kahu to build houses for the purpose.

He said the houses would be allotted on first come first served basis.

Kakar said the registration fee collected from the federal government employees would be used for land acquisition.

He said the government employees of BS-20 and above was required to pay Rs 0.1 million for registration, while employees of lower grades would be charged low fee. He said registration fee wouldn’t be included in the plot price.
