Gwadar Port construction: objective not achieved: Naval chief

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir NI(M) as chief guest praised the efforts of the author for taking the time to write a book which provides guiding principles for the future naval leaders.Talking to mediamen, Admiral Noman Bashir said that the objective of construction of Gwadar Port was not achieved and there is need to take proper steps to make it functional.

Replying a query, he said Pakistan has identified with China the possibility of co-operation in the field of construction of submarine, bigger war ships, acquiring modern weapons and equipment. Both the countries are enjoying good friendly relations while Pakistan will opt the viable options for further co-operation, Admiral said.
