Shahbaz for simplifying investment procedure

Lahore—Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has stressed the need for simplification of investment procedure to facilitate and encourage investors.

Chairing a meeting in this regard here, he said, an autonomous Punjab Investment Board has been set up to create a conducive atmosphere for promotion of investment in the province. MNA Pervaiz Malik, Chairman Special Initiatives Haroon Khawaja, the PIB Vice Chairman Rizwan Ullah Khan, Secretaries of Livestock and Agriculture, and officers concerned attended the meeting.

Shahbaz Sharif said, vast investment opportunities are available in various sectors in Punjab and solid steps have been taken for the provision of best facilities to the investors. “Indigenous resources will have to be developed for achieving the goal of self-reliance,” he added.
