CM gives land for Balochistan House
LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said four units of Pakistan are like a body, and we have to share our joys, grief and resources with each other.
“Pakistan will make progress only when its four provinces will be prosperous. We will continue playing our role for Balochistan development and prosperity,” he promised here on Wednesday, while talking to a delegation of Balochistan women parliamentarians, who were led by Prosecution Minister Balochistan Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani. Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Minister Law Rana Sanaullah Khan, Minister Education Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, Chief Secretary Nasir Mehmood Khan Khosa, Advisor Zakiya Shahnawaz and women assembly members Punjab were also present. The CM announced that whenever any member of Balochistan Assembly would visit Punjab, he would be treated as official guest, and two kanal land for construction of Balochistan House in Lahore. While welcoming the Balochistan women parliamentarians, the CM said a new era of prosperity of Balochistan would usher in by utilising these reserves, and promotion of national solidarity was need of the hour for resolution of problems of Pakistan. “Punjab played the role of equal brother instead of elder brother in unanimous approval of the NFC Award,” he said, adding that the Punjab government was establishing the most modern cardiology hospital in Quetta whereas students of Balochistan were given admission in the prestigious institutions of Punjab, and their seats were increased substantially. |
