Pakistan Navy establishes free medical camp in Gwadar
KARACHI: Pakistan Navy has established a three-day free medical camp at Gwadar for civilian populace of the area.
An ISPR (Navy) press release issued here on Thursday said that approximately 4,000 patients are likely to be treated in the camp for various diseases. It said that the medical camp is aimed at providing skilled medical treatment to the local inhabitants and educate them on public health, prevention of diseases, child healthcare, personal hygiene and sanitation of living areas. School children will be medically examined and parents/teachers be advised on correctable disabilities and nutritional deficiencies. Lady doctors will also counsel women on mother/child care related matters and family planning. The medical staff comprising general physicians, specialist and para medical staff will provide free medical treatment and medicines for general healthcare, ophthalmology, gynecology, ENT, minor surgeries, skin and child healthcare.
