Survey: 70% expat home owners in 'negative equity':UAE

United Arab Emirates: Monday, April 06 - 2009 at 12:30

A survey by market research company Real Opinions has concluded that seven in 10 expatriates in the UAE with property expect they would lose money if they tried to sell now. Of those polled, 22% claim they have bought property off-plan with further payment installments still due before it is fully constructed.
