Taliban being supported by drug money
COMMANDER Anti Narcotics Force Punjab Brig Sajjad Ahmad Bukshi has said Taliban are being supported by narcotics money.

Addressing a media conference at Regional Directorate ANF on Saturday, he said the production of narcotics in Afghanistan last year was more than the production of last ten years. He said the business of drugs had completely been eradicated from Dir through alternative programmes introduced by the international agencies.

Giving details of the awareness activities in connection with International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, he said that from June 20 to June 30, a seminar would be held in Khushab, a wrestling tournament in Khanpur, an auto rickshaw rally in Lahore, a seminar in Okara, a detoxification treatment camp in Sahiwal, a seminar in Sahiwal, a medical camp in Wazirabad, an awareness campaign in schools in Gujranwala, a free medical camp in Lahore.
