Karachi: Balloting of DHA City project postponed due to software bug

The balloting ceremony for allotment of plots in the DHA City, which was scheduled to be held on Thursday at DHA Golf Club, was postponed after the detection of an inevitable bug in the database at the eleventh hour. Now the balloting for DHA City plots would be held on November 5 at 11am at the Defence Authority Country & Golf Club, DHA Phase-VIII. “Due to an accidental technical bug, the computerized software system collapsed and despite all efforts, could not be restored in time. This prompted the management of the DHA to postpone the event,” he said.
