‘LONDON: Former president Pervez Musharraf said on Sunday that India had been an accomplice in terrorist activities in Pakistan and in this connection, Pakistan had informed its allies.

Talking to the media here, he said Mulla Omar had never been to Pakistan and denied links between Pakistan’s security forces and Taliban. He said that during his regime, whatever he did was in the national interest and for strengthening of democracy in the country. “I will return to Pakistan soon,” he added.

India and its secret agencies had been hatching conspiracies against Pakistan by making their hegemony in Afghanistan, he said and added that Pakistan had proof regarding the involvement of India in terrorist activities in Pakistan. He said Afghanistan’s issue could not be settled without talks with the Taliban
