Karachi: DHA Creek Vistas project back on track

Creek Vistas, the largest single residential high-rise development in the country, located astride the Arabian Sea in DHA Phase VIII, is now in its advanced stages of completion, after being delayed for some time. This was revealed on Tuesday during a meeting of consultants and contractors of the DHA Creek Vistas project. The meeting was chaired by DHA Administrator Brig. Khalid Tirmizi.

According to a DHA press statement, he project has also been affected in the wake of the overall depleting economic condition in the country. “The consultants cited technical reasons while the contractors quoted the implication of the cost of construction due to the rise in the cost of materials and labour along with other inflationary trends for the reason of delay in the project,” the press statement said.

The DHA administrator has, meanwhile, directed the contractors and the project consultant to resolve all bottlenecks amicably.

The project that is located in Creek City, overlooking the Arabian Sea, has 12 towers, each of which is 18 storeys high. The project is spread over 19 acres of land and covers an area of three million square feet.
