21st anniversary of Defence Residents Society celebrated

KARACHI: The 21st anniversary of Defence Residents Society (DRS) was held in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in which Commander 5 Corps Lt Gen Muhammad Zahirul Islam, who is also president Executive Board DHA, was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said the substantial efforts had been made by DHA for ensuring revival of stalled Cogen plant by acquiring its control and management from the present owners, AEI firm. Earlier Zafar Iqbal President DRS in his welcome address gave various suggestions for improvement of civic amenities and quality of life in DHA. staff report
