CDA to open sectors C15, 16 soon

ISLAMABAD - Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to open sector C15 and 16 soon and it has started initial working in this respect. Sources said that a meeting held under CDA member estate Shaista Sohail and member planning Syed Mustafain Kazmi considered the matters related to payment of compensation to the affectees and allotment of plots.

Director General Planning and director land will give briefing to the chairman CDA and other members on this matter in the next meeting.

This is worth mentioning here that award of these sectors had been announced far earlier but neither the plots nor the compensation had been paid to the affectees.

The necessity for opening the two new sectors is being felt since the long in the wake of growing population but the CDA was not taking any step on this count due to lack of funds.

Sources said CDA was giving serious consideration now to opening new sectors in the federal capital to address the residential problems facing the people.
