LDA team tears down nine illegal structures

LAHORE: Town Planning Wing of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has demolished nine buildings during an operation against illegal constructions and violation of building laws by constructors on Tuesday.
Staff of the Town Planning Wing of LDA conducted operations in different areas of Johar town and Iqbal town. During the exercise, two buildings which were not approved by LDA administration were sealed.
In Johar Town, the LDA staff razed illegal constructions on plot No.965-R-I. While construction at plots No. 1165 Q-block, 820 Q-block and 1165-C block Q were also demolished.
However, in Allama Iqbal town illegally-constructed commercial building at plot No. 321 of Huma block was demolished. Meanwhile illegal commercial type alterations at plot No 6 Gulshan block and 35 Kareem block were sealed. Two illegal shops on second floor of plot No. 15 of Kashmir block were also demolished
during the operation
