The Budget Bill For Urban Development Wing, WASA And TEPA, Passed
The LDA in its governing meeting passed the budget for Water and Sanitation Agency and Traffic Engineering Transport Planning Agnecy for the fiscal year 2013-14. The bill allocated rupees 25.4 billion to the said departments. The meeting was resided by chairman LDA, Mr Nasim Sadiq who allocated rupees 11.56 billion to LDA urban development. The total expenditure is expected to be rupees 11.54 billion while rupees 9 .10 billion have been kept for developmental projects.
The amount allocated for the development of residential schemes was rupees 2.6 billion . A two thronged high way will be made from LOS Ferozepur road to Multan road and will cost about rupees 1.84 billion. WASA will have rupees 9.5 billion and TEPA will have overall rupees 4.42 billion. |
