PIA starts flights to Leeds
Islamabad : In order to meet the longstanding demand of Pakistani community in Leeds and Bradford (UK), the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has added this station in its flight schedule, and Islamabad-Leeds-Islamabad flight will operate twice a week every Wednesday and Saturday, says a press release.
The airport is 13 kilometres from Leeds and 11 kilometres from Bradford. It is conveniently located for Pakistani community residing in both areas. PIA Managing Director Captain Muhammad Aijaz Haroon said, “PIA’s flight operation on the said sector meets the demand of our customers in Bradford and wider Yorkshire region as well as the airline’s customers in Pakistan.” He further said that the launch of PIA’s flight operation from Islamabad to Leeds and Bradford would provide additional travel services to its customers in addition to the airline’s growing international network. http://www.thenews.com.pk/daily_detail.asp?id=122130 |
