Lahore: Mayo Hospital to fill 673 vacancies

PUNJAB Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed authorities concerned to immediately fill 673 vacancies in Mayo Hospital, the health secretary has said.

Anwaar Ahmad Khan was speaking at a meeting to review expansion and upgrade of Mayo Hospital on Saturday.

The secretary said new vacancies had been approved. He said the Punjab Chief Minister want to make Mayo Hospital a model hospital.

He said the Mayo Hospital was being equipped with latest machinery and equipment. He said architectural design of the hospital would be preserved while undertaking reconstruction and renovation of the building. He said the sewerage system of the hospital would be replaced under the expansion project.

MS Zahid Pervez said the hospital has jobs for 200 nurses, 123 ward attendants,102 sanitary workers, 163 security guards, five security supervisors, 10 sanitary supervisors and 70 maids.
