Criminals’ data computerised, says RPO
RAWALPINDI: All the available data of hardened criminals in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal and Attock districts have been computerised, said Regional Police Officer (RPO) Nasir Khan Durrani on Wednesday. He was addressing a meeting at Rawalpindi Police Lines, which was attended by senior police officers from these districts. City Police Officer Rao Muhammad Iqbal, Senior Superintendent of Police Yasin Farooq, Chief Traffic Officer Raja Rifat Mukhtar, officials of Rescue 1122, Rescue 15, bomb disposal squad and civil defence were also present. According to the RPO spokesperson, Durrani has introduced a software that could store data of criminals. He said sketch and fingerprints of the criminals could be developed through this software.
