PTCL raises employees’ salaries on performance appraisal
KARACHI: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL) has raised the salary package of its employees by 50 percent in addition to many other incentives being offered. According to a statement issued here by the PTCL Human Resource Department, the management has decided to increase the salary of non-management regular employees up to 50 percent of the initial basic pay scale of PTCL pay scales. Officers of the company have been given the salary increase based on their performance appraisal. PTCL’s management is also considering to issue further incentives in terms of salary increase to its employees based upon the performance for the half year ending December 2010 and June 2011 and will be communicated as soon as finalised. It was added further that PTCL’s management has decided to allow the placement of all non-management regular employees in the next higher scale as per the channel of promotion on account of 12 years service.
