PM tells Taseer to improve ties with 'N'

LAHORE- Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer had a meeting at Governor’s House on Saturday, and exchanged views over host of issues related to current political situation in the country.
As per sources, the question of maintaining good working relationship with the PML-N also came under discussion, and the PM reportedly asked Governor Taseer to improve ties with PML-N in line with party’s policy of reconciliation. Gilani asked him to remain calm unless there was provocation from the other side, said the sources.
The two leaders also discussed issues related to rehabilitation in flood affected areas, as Taseer briefed the premier about “Soorij Scheme” initiated by Vice-chancellors of 42 universities in the public and private sectors.
