LAHORE – An angiography unit at the Cardiac Center Begum Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Welfare Trust, Bahria Town Hospital was inaugurated by CEO Ahmad Ali Riaz Malik. Professor Doctor Jawad Sajid Khan, Chief Cardiac Unit Bahria Town Hospital Lahore, Doctor Farqad Alamgir Director & Chief Cardiology Unit Hull Hospital UK, Brigadier Mehdi Administrator Bahria Town Hospital Lahore, Brigadier Ahad Executive Director Bahria Town Lahore and a large number of other notable guests were also present on this occasion, says a s press release. Chief guest Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik said that the induction of this machine is a good addition to the hospital, that will not only increase the capabilities of the hospital but will also ensure the provision of best medical facilities to the patients. Professor Doctor Jawad Sajid Khan at the occasion said that the Cardiac Center in Bahria Town Lahore Hospital is a state of the art facility equipped with most modern equipment, the center has already performed over a 100 successful open heart surgeries. Dr. Farqad Alamgir the Director & Chief Cardiology Unit Hull Hospital UK at the occasion said that he is happy & impressed with the services provided by the Bahria Town Lahore Hospital. “It is great to see health services over & above international standards here in Pakistan. Bahria Town is setting the benchmark for healthcare in Pakistan,” he added. Dr. Farqad is also providing his expert consultancy in Bahria Town Lahore Hospital till 29th January.
