Afza Flyover to be opened this week

KARACHI - SITE Ltd MD Abdul Rasheed Solangi has said that Afza Flyover on Habib Band Chorangi at SITE Area will open for traffic this week. He said that Nooriabad water project from Kanjher lake will also start in the middle of April.

He said that all the project of SITE Ltd in all over Sindh will complete in on-going financial year he called a meeting on the project of Kotri effluent treatment plant in his office. MD SITE Abdul Rasheed Solangi visited SITE Noori Abad and Kotri along with concern officers.

He inspected Noori a bad pipeline project and said that SITE Ltd already clear all the dues of HESCO Therefore remove the problems of electricity in this project as soon as possible, He also visit Effluent treatment plant and inspected on going works.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rasheed Solangi visited Habib Bank Chowrangi SITE Area. He was briefed by the concern engineers and officers about the project, MD SITE said the carpeting work and installation of solar lights should be complete in two or three days, we will open Afza fly over for the traffic in this week.

Police arrest 23 accused: The City Police during the drive against criminals arrested 23 accused from various areas during the past 24 hours.

A statement on Thursday said that 14 pistols, a dagger and four cellphones besides cash amounting to Rs42,550 also recovered from the possession of the accused.

The police have registered cases against the accused and started investigation.
