Islamabad to be cleared of encroachments: Chairman CDA


ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority Engineer Farkhand Iqbal has issued directives to clear the city markets, government buildings, residential areas of encroachments and illegal construction within one week.

In this regard he visited F-6 Markaz and Aabpara Market the other day and directed the enforcement personnel present on the spot for removal of encroachments

He said negligence in this regard would not be tolerated and no one would be exempted from this operation including those who have set up encroachments in government buildings. The government buildings would be used only for the purpose for which they were allotted.

During his tour the chairman CDA assured the traders that their problems would be resolved on priority basis.

Personnel of CDA Environment Wing, Sanitation Wing, Enforcement Wing and relevant officials were also present
